Ras Indian

Ras Indian grew up in the town of Mont Ferme in France, home to a large North African, African and Caribbean communities. The Mauritian born Ras Indian has built his own reggae revolution from this place. Ras Indian grew up with the passion of music even as a child - when he was a youth, hip hop was started to reach France - being further influenced by Supercat, Early B, Ranking Trevor, Big Youth and U-Roy. He started to build up lyrics in French Ras Indian says - To me Africa is the future - it is a place of hope - the riddims from there are crucial for reggae.
