Terry Gad

I, Terry Gad, along with Brother Milton started Jah Trinity Sound way back in 1981. The sound was first called Lord Demonstrator from 1981 - 1985 playing all kinds of roots music, rockers, rub-a-dub & soul to please the people. In reality we only wanted to play Jah Music to coincide with our Rasta Beliefs. So in 1986 we changed the name of the sound to Jah Trinity Outernational playing only strictly roots and culture. This name gave the sound a more spiritual name to coincide with our Rasta beliefs in Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia. Haile Selassie means "Power of the Holy Trinity", so Jah Trinity means The Father, The Son & The Holy Spirit, Jah Trinity therefore is a powerful name.

Since 1986 Jah Trinity had played with other sound systems in the roots & culture scene such as, Jah Shaka, Jah Tubby, Iration Steppers, Aba Shanti I, Jah Observer amongst a few. I, Terry Gad was the dub selector and Milton Naphtali was the engineer and operator. The sound crashed in 1999 when Milton moved to Australia and I, Terry Gad moved to London. The complete sound system was sold to some Italian brothers. Jah Trinity sound system is now being played all over Europe under the name of King David. Milton Naphtali continues Jah message in Australia under the name of Jah Trinity and I, Terry Gad play in London under the name Jah Trinity also.

So the name still carries on spreading the message of Jah Rastafari because Jah Music is the rasta message from I & I. As rasta to every nation on earth for all nations - I & I have to unite is Jah Trinity's message to everyone. So I, Terry Gad feel blessed and honored to be playing at venues in London and around the country such as Troy Bar in Hoxton, Imperial Gardens in Camberwell, Orleans in Finsbury Park, Bassment Club in Brighton. The whole world has to hear Jah Music, seen!!! Jah Bless and Rastafari Live.
